Several weeks ago in October 2016, Ernest Nganga, a devoted Kenya husband and father of two was involved in a major collision with an 18 wheeler truck accident in Houston,TX while on his way to work.

Since then, the family of the severely injured Kenyan has been struggling with severe financial and emotional difficulties, with the main breadwinner rendered immobile.

The accident received local media coverage due to the severity of the injuries incurred by the Kenyan man who remained conscious for 45 minutes while the Fire and Emergency Services worked to save his crushed body from the vehicle wreckage.

He sustained major injuries including two broken legs and a broken hand; he has been immobilized since the day of the accident after going through multiple surgeries. Ernest was at Clear Lake Regional Hospital for over a week and has now transitioned to Home Care Nursing to rehabilitate.

Ng'ang'a, his wife, Elita, and his children Nia and Ethan will be facing a very long physical, mental and psychological road to recovery. In addition Ernest and Elita will also face severe financial burdens.

Ernest and Elita's friends and family have setup a GoFundMe account as a way for family, friends and well-wishers to show their love and support for this young family.

Please help by donating to his GoFundMe account, Square Cash account or to their direct bank account.

There will also be prayers and a fund raising event on November 19th at 13311 Dove Shores Court, Houston TX 77044. The event will promptly start at 3pm and your presence and donations will greatly be appreciated.

Remember that no donation is too small and together we can provide tremendous financial relief for Ernest and Elita as they journey through this road of recovery in the months to come. Most importantly, please keep Ernest and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
