Uganda's Byanyima named among top world brands

Global reputation consulting agency, Reputation Poll International (RPI), has named Oxfam boss Winnie Byanyima among the top 100 most reputable people on earth.

Byanyima, the wife of former presidential contestant Col Kizza Besigye, becomes the first Uganda to make it to the list.

Also on the list is former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson; Alexis Tsipras, the prime Minister of Greece; actress Angelina Jolie and Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

The South Africa based agency also has Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UN boss Antonio Guterres on the list.

According to RPI, the poll to select the top brands is an annual event conducted online, with the public taking part in choosing the best candidates.

This year, survey involved over 20,000 top personalities drawn from all over the world of people that have amassed high reputation for themselves through their works and achievements.

In this year's poll, US had the largest share of reputable personalities (39).

At 98, renowned US evangelist Billy Graham is the oldest person on the list.

On the other hand, Malala Yousafzai (Pakistan) and Raymond Wang from Canada, both at 19, are the youngest people to be listed.
