LOWELL, Mass.__During a time that the Kenyan community in Boston is debating on how to stem the rising suicide rates among youth and middle aged nationals struggling to cope with life far from home, Rev. Dr. Joseph Kimatu , is lending his support to the effort by launching a self-help book on how to cope with grief in a foreign land.

The 200 page book, titled "Groping for Support", is set to launch in Sunday December 2 at the Ushindi church located at 450 Chelmsford Street, Lowell at 3pm.

Dr. Kimatu, a pastor at the Ushindi church, is inviting all Kenyans and friends to the launch hoping to provide extra tools to help many who have lost loved ones in the Diaspora. According to Dr. Kimatu, many grieving families find support lacking soon after funerals are concluded as community members revert to the never ending struggle to keep up with demanding work and life schedules prevalent in a foreign land.
