The family of legendary former Kenyan footballer Joe Kadenge of the "kadenge na mpira" fame is deeply saddened to share the passing of their beloved daughter Eva Wanjiku Kadenge Hoskin on February 9, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado after a short illness. Eva leaves behind a son, Zuri Hoskin (17) and daughter, Nuru Hoskin (14), her parents Joe and Mary Kadenge, brother Henry Kangethe, Rogers Kadenge in Nairobi, Kenya, a sister Susan Kadenge in London, UK. She was a niece to retired Bishop Samuel Mwatha (All Nations P.E.FA (Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa)), Archbishop and Mrs. Arthur Kitonga (Redeemed Gospel church), Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gichango (KENYA) and Martha Nguru Kangethe ( Weymouth, MA) as well as John and Jane Ngunjiri of Kenya. She was cousin to Kennedy Gichango (Aurora, CO), Moses (VA), John (KENYA), Vicky (KENYA) and Sammy (Boston,MA) Kitonga, John and Njambi Wachira (VA), Jackline Njeri Ng'ang'a (Weymouth, MA),Washington Kangethe (W. VA), Christopher Nguru (Brockton,MA), Wanja Mwatha (VA) and Millicent Wanja (Weymouth, MA) just to name a few.
Funeral arrangements are ongoing, and updates will be posted on the gofundme page. The family would like to thank friends from near and far for your overwhelming messages of condolences and support. Consequently, and in response to offers for financial assistance to meeting impending funeral costs, the family has set up a gofundme account and cashapp numbers to facilitate the same.
