Jane Kuria (Mama Njambi), long time resident of Lowell MA and servant of God passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday January 26 while surrounded by family, both in USA and in the motherland via zoom. She was 78. Jane Kuria was born on 02/16/1943 to Peris Njambi Muchina and the late Bethuel Muchina of Nakuru/Tambach. She was the wife to the late David Kuria M. Livingstone of Ting’ang’a. She was the mother to Pauline Wambui Njoroge (Nazareth Hospital), Lucy Njambi (Kiamumbi), Alice Njeri Kuria (Boston, USA), Grace Wanjiru Karugu (Kiambu), Peter Kiguru Kuria (Kiu-Kenda), John Muchina Kuria (Ting’ang’a) and the late Joshua Kuria. She was a sister to Grace Wanjiru Muhuri (Nyahururu) , Samule Muchina (Kiambu), Rose N.Muchina, Mary W Mwari, Eunice W. Njuguna, Rev Ann Muchina all of Nakuru, Dr Pauline Muchina (Washington D.C USA, Florence Wariara (Rongai) and the late Joseph Njogu. She was a mother in law to Joseph M. Githere (Banana), John K. Njihia (Kenya Power), Engineer Anthony Karugu Chira (Kiambu) and Salome Njambi (Kiu-Kenda). She was a grandmother to Catherine Njambi, Anthony, Michael Njihia, Lillian Linet Kabiru, Maryanne, Claire and Jeremy Karugu, Jeff Kingori and Angel Mugure. Jane was taken ill in May 2021 and underwent a series of treatment (chemotherapy) at Boston Medical Center. Her condition deteriorated in December of 2021 where she was in and out of hospital. She was promoted to glory in the morning of January 26th, 2022, at 7am in her home in Lowell, Massachusetts surrounded by family and friends both in the USA and abroad. In 2012 Jane had a supernatural experience in which the Holy Spirit gave her messages for the whole world (a) That the trumpet will sound soon, and the marriage supper of the Lamb is at hand and ,(b) The descending down of the New Jerusalem. These messages can be found on YouTube. Jane lived in Christ and for Him. She embodied and preached repentance from sin and the unfailing love of God. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Let us continue her legacy of faith and waiting on God showing the same love of God that she taught and lived. May the eternal values that she has imparted on many continue to bear fruit for the glory of God. Fare-thee-well mother we shall meet again gloriously on the resurrection morning. A combined wake and memorial service will be held on February 6th. Venue is CCF (Community Christian Fellowship), 105 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, MA 01851 at 4pm.
