Gerald Mwangi is a US-based businessman born in Kangema in Nyeri, Central Kenya, whose net worth is pegged at Ksh23 billion. The businessman is the president of a mechanical contracting company aside from his other roles in several non-profit organisations. Gerald pursued a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi and began his career at a local bank where he worked as an accountant. However, he moved to the United States to pursue a degree in Construction Engineering Management from East Carolina University Greenville and graduated in 1999. His education in the US made way for several opportunities including a project management role at CompUSA in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning(HVAC) Mechanical Building Construction department, marking the beginning of his hard-earned success. “After graduating in 1999, Gerald started his career at CompUSA as a project manager for HVAC Mechanical Building Construction Division. “He is a natural-born leader who had an early love for machines, and now with good years of experience, he is considered an expert in the field of mechanical systems,” his website reads in part. The CEO worked his way up at the company and later became the vice president before leaving in 2006 to join Platinum Intermedia, a cloud communications company. He worked at the company until 2009 when he moved to a mechanical contracting firm where he was serving as the president. “With a membership in Mechanical Contractors Association, ASHRAE, and InsideIQ, Gerald states that he has access to the best platform for voicing out his ideas and concerns about future technology. “Emphasizing on the standard of living, he explains that the need to invent something new has made him more optimistic and resourceful,” his website further noted. The billionaire had amassed wealth in the US building an empire for himself and raising a family with an American actress. He spends his free time playing either Racquetball or Football and takes sanctuary in the world of Jazz. | |||||||||
