BOSTON, MA__
Mimmi Hurio, an 18-year-old black girl of Kenyan descent travelled from her private high school in the state of Maine by bus on Saturday March 2nd, arriving at the south Station Boston around 12.15pm. Here, she was to be picked up by her parents for a short trip home in the town of Milton, barely 9 Miles south of Boston, to spend a break from school. She was carrying two pieces of luggage with her, and a guitar case on arrival at South station. Unfortunately, Mimmi mysteriously disappeared, her parents were unable to locate her, and has not been seen or heard of since then, according to an urgent police release from the Milton Police Department to members of the public.

The report further said that Mimmi is 5 foot, 4 inches tall and was last seen wearing a black coat, khaki pants with red pants underneath. She was also thought to have been wearing a headscarf. Mimmi was last seen near Dewey Square in Boston, but roughly 30 hours later (as of now), she has neither been seen anywhere, nor contacted family and friends either.

The police are requesting members of the public for help to locate the young Boston native. Mimmi is the daughter of Tony Ngari of Safari Boston golf club, and his wife, Annie Gatitu, both originally from Kenya.

Shocked members of the Kenyan community in Boston are currently scrambling to search for the young Mimmi by sharing the police announcement across multiple social media platforms as well as distributing flyers around Milton where she lived, and Boston, where she went missing. Hopes and prayers are high that someone who may have seen something will provide a tip that will lead to a safe return.

Anyone with any information related to the disappearance is urged to contact the Milton police department at:

617-698-3800 or 617-698-1212
