PASADENA, CA---Laureen Noelle Awino Otwala, a 34 year old Kenyan woman has gone missing in Pasadena, California. According to a press release by Pasadena Police Department, Otwala was last seen at the Fuller Theological Seminary located at 135 N. Oakland Ave., Pasadena on July 10, 2015. The police described Otwala as a black female, 5' 3", 125 lbs. Dark complexion, black and red braided hair and brown eyes. News of the missing Kenyans was first reported to the police when the Theology School where Otwala is suspected to be a student filed a missing person's report, according to one Kenyan who contacted Ajabu Media after receiving the report via an email from a former friend in the Seminary. The Kenyan, who requested anonymity, said that his American friend at the seminary knew very little about Otwala and "doesn't seem like she has family/relatives around". Last year, Jennifer Mbugua, a 33 year old Kenyan woman went missing in Fall River, near Boston, prompting a massive search effort by the Kenyan community and friends. However, the efforts to trace Miss. Mbugua have remained futile and no word has ever been heard about her since then. Pasadena Police is requesting anyone in the public who may have any kind of information regarding the missing Kenyan in California to contact them on 911, your local police department or the Pasadena Police Department at 626-744-4241.
