| Ugandan elections happened, but a lot is still being said on social media. Celebrities like Jose Chameleone have even come out to affirm their political stands especially after his candidate won. But it’s not all rosy for Bebe Cool whose political stand and sentiments seem to have landed him in danger. As it is, singer Bebe Cool has been receiving threats from citizens over his involvement in politics. The rift between him and a number of Ugandans came about during the campaign period and has been on through elections until now. "I only feel sorry 4 your daughter coz if u want me to keep my nonsense to myself, a bright student would unfriend my page. Did I ask u to read my post?" He replied to one of the comments Bebe Cool who has been engaging with agitated Ugandans on social media revealed that he was fearing for his life especially after many fans promised to not only pass on his many shows but also to take his life. For protection, Bebe Cool asked for extra security to secure his property and life following the many threats he has been receiving. He also recently sent his family to Rwanda fearing for their safety and is now more secure with bodyguards at his disposal. "I would like to caution my fellow Ugandans about putting aside our political differences and work together toward reconciliation and continued steady progress of our personal lives and our nation," Bebe cool said amidst the confrontations. | |||||||||
